UNESCO hosted a seminar on the problems of education in the courtiers of the South Caucasus. Alongside with representatives of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenian, the Workshop was attended by specialists in this field from the US, France, Switzerland, Russia, Lithuania, Latvia and other states, foreign diplomats and renowned educators.Speaking were at the event, representatives of Azerbaijan pro-rector of the University of Languages, I. Mardanov, dean of the Technical University E. Mustafayev and head of the department of the Baku University A. Mammadov, who dwelt on the state of education in Azerbaijan, measures undertaken to strength material-technical base of school, training high quality specialists meeting modern requirements, on the on-going reforms in this field, and care and attention of state to this sphere.Participants of the Workshop exchanged views on improvement of the system of education in the states of South Caucasus, ways of solution of the accrued problems.
