Chief of the foreign relations department of the Executive Office of the President of Azerbaijan Novruz Mammadov told AzerTAj correspondent in an answer to his question on the preparatory works to the Presidential elections to be held on 15 October: ‘All necessary measures were taken for conduction of the election in democratic conditions. To ensure transparency, many foreign observers will participate in this significant political event. All the efforts are directed to make these elections completely different from elections held so far in the entire Caucasian region. He said he believes that the upcoming Presidential elections will raise prestige of Azerbaijan in the international world.
