International conference “ Energy resources and Future of Azerbaijan” organized by London informational network for conflicts and state building /LINCS/ and Azerbaijan national center for strategic initiatives was held in Baku, in the Hyatt Regency Hotel, on September 16.

In their speeches, Chairmen of the standing commissions of the Milli Majlis for science and education Shahlar Asgarov, for natural resources, energy and ecology Asya Manafova, , Ambassador of Great Britain to Azerbaijan Andrew Tucker, Rustam Mammadov, head of socio-political department of the Presidential office noted that revenues being transferred to Azerbaijani treasury from energy projects will be increased in near future.

In their reports, member of the House of Commons of the British Parliament Angus Robertson and member of LINCS Consulting Council Andrew Wilson viewed the Scottish experience of influence of energy resources on local economy and their role in worldwide context.
