EU RESTORATION PROGRAM’S 5TH PHASE COMPLETED

On the base of joint agreement reached between the Azerbaijan Government and the European Union, it was completed the 5th phase of the Program of restoration being realized since 1997 for reconstruction of the damaged from war infrastructure in the Fizuli, Agjabadi, Agdam and Kazakh districts.

As was informed to AzerTAj by the group of technical control of Program, at 3,7 million Euros, allotted by the European Commission for realization of this phase, started in July last year, in the Fizuli district, have been restored 550 houses, in Agjabadi – 3 schools, 43 wells with drinking water and irrigation wells, as well as reconstructed a part of the Agjabadi-Imishli power line and the Gazakh district power net.

It has to be noted that at the four previous phases of Program, in the village of Khindiristan, Agdam district, was built a new pumping station, laid the Khram-Shukurbeyli power line, at 110 kw with length 20,5 km, in the Fizuli district – restored 10 schools, in the settlement Horadiz – 350 residential houses, cultural centers and schools for 480 pupils.
