EUROPEAN QUALIFICATION BOXING TOURNAMENT TO BE HELD IN BAKU
Sitting of the Organizing Committee of the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism was dedicated to the preparation of the European qualification-boxing tournament to be held at Baku Sports Palace, April 27 - May 2.
100 sportsmen from 35 countries under 6 weight-classes will attend the contests, President of Azerbaijan Boxing Federation Agajan Abiyev said.
Azerbaijan will be represented by Jeyhun Abiyev /48kg/, Agasi Mammadov /54 kg/, Ali Ismayilov
/81kg/, another boxers under 69 and 62 weight-classes have already gained licenses.
Visit of the President of International Amateur Boxing Federation, professor Anvar Choudri and leadership of the European Amateur Boxing Association led by President Emil Jechev is expected.
