EXPORT CONTROL TO TOUGHEN

The adoption of the bill “On Export Control” targeted at controlling exported and transited goods is of great significance.

Security Center expert for international trade Fuad Maharramov told AzerTAj correspondent that it is necessary to make additional amendments to the Customs Code after passing this law and toughen frontier control. Today, some foreign companies using Azerbaijan Republic as a transit area give hazardous substances to somebody else after using it. To prevent this, it is necessary to vest frontier and customs bodies with special powers.
