FALL SESSION OF PACE ENDED
In the report and statements on the first question, it was underlined that the Council of Europe considering the democratic development its basic criterion, still should make much in this field and that there has come time to leave the traditional “democratic norms”, were marked weak democratic development in a number of the countries and importance of preparation of new concepts.
At discussion of the second question improvement of sphere of education, creation of system of the general education, granting to higher educational institutions of autonomy for expansion of their privileges, creation of conditions for pluralism and democracies in education have been especially underlined, and also was spoken about questions of integration into the advanced European education system.
The same day, at session of the PACE Bureau, it was in detail spoken about results of session, and also was adopted a decision on carrying out in Baku one of the next sessions of subcommittee of the Organization on refugees.
The fall session of pace rounded its work.
