On 16 January, Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan held its last sitting of the fall session.

The parliamentarians discussed in the third reading the Draft “On banks”. Chairman of the standing committee of Milli Majlis on economic policy Sattar Safarov spoke of the said Draft.

Chairman of Board of the National Bank of Azerbaijan Elman Rustamov said that adoption of this Law would play significant role in the field of development of monetary-credit reforms. The Law was adopted. Then, discussed was the Draft “On electronic signature and electronic document”.

Chairman of Milli Majlis Murtuz Alaskarov summed up the sitting. In the period of the fall session, was held 27 sessions of the Parliament and adopted 94 laws, and several Drafts passed the second reading. Milli Majlis approved many international agreements, conventions and protocols to which Azerbaijan joined.

The deputies participated at the sessions of PACE, OSCE, CIS and other world structures, where backed position of Azerbaijan.
