First stage of Chinese language student contest held in Baku

The first stage of the Chinese language student contest has been held in Baku.
Head of Confucius Institute on behalf of China Hu Fenhua provided an insight into the terms of the contest. She said only 15 out of 150 will qualify for the second stage.
The second stage will see students make speeches in Chinese language, and perform dances and songs. The winner of the second stage will gain the right to join the Asia competition.
Director of Confucius Institute on behalf of Azerbaijan Ogtay Jalilbayli said the aim of the contest is help Azerbaijani youth to prove their skills and increase the scope of their interests. He noted that students of the Baku State University, Khazar University, Azerbaijan State Economic University, Azerbaijan University of Languages, ADA University joined the competition.
