To expand ties among Diaspora organizations the State Committee on work with Azerbaijanis residing abroad will organize football matches among Diaspora societies.

The first competition is due in December in Baku. The heads of Azerbaijani communities were advised of it.

Leaders of Congress of Ukrainian Azerbaijanis, Diaspora organizations of Voronej and Rostov regions reported on preparation for the matches.

The Committee is working on involvement of European Azerbaijanis. Organization of such events will serve further strengthening of ties of Azerbaijanis residing abroad with their historical homeland.
