FOREIGN MINISTER MEETS PACE REPRESENTATIVES
Greeting the visitors, Minister Mammadyarov informed them on bringing of the country’s legislation to the European standards, the actions to protect human rights and freedoms and the achieved successes in this field, since the country was admitted to the Council of Europe.
E. Lintner dwelt on the forthcoming by-elections on May 13, noting their importance for the country.
Touching upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict and the negotiations on the problem, Minister Mammadyarov said settlement of the problem is possible only in the frame of international norms and principles, and reminded inviolability of borders.
