Foreign Ministry official: Azerbaijan is strategic partner for UAE

“Azerbaijan is a strategic partner for the United Arab Emirates,” said Director of the Dubai office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) Abdulrahman Ghanem Al Mutaiwee as he met with Consul General of Azerbaijan to the country Javidan Huseynov.
Al Mutaiwee praised the high-level of the UAE-Azerbaijan relations. He hailed the positive dynamics in political and economic relations between the two countries, saying it is very pleasant to see the continuous expansion of bilateral cooperation.
Huseynov thanked Abdulrahman Ghanem Al Mutaiwee for the close cooperation provided by the Dubai Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE over the past year.
Consul General described 2018 as very fruitful in terms of development of bilateral relations.
Javidan Huseynov emphasized the crucial role of the political will and friendly relations of the two country’s presidents in achieving the current level of bilateral ties.
The sides also exchanged views on a number of other issues of mutual interest.
