A regular sitting of the Academic Council devoted to the preparation of the encyclopedia of the great Azerbaijani poet Mohammad Fuzuli took place at the Literature Museum after Nizami Ganjavi of the National Academy of Sciences, April 16. The sitting participants elected members of the editing council and working group to prepare the glossary of the encyclopedia.

Museum director, Milli Majlis deputy, Prof. Rafael Huseynov noted that the glossary is being prepared now. The preparation process of the encyclopedia involved eminent scholars. The early version of the encyclopedia will be ready in three years.

R. Huseynov noted that preparation of the Fuzuli Encyclopedia would be a starting point for systematization of creativity of other classics.

As international scholastic conference is set to take place in October a collection of materials will be issued soon. By that time a hall named after Fuzuli will have been repaired.

Editing council members Javad Heyat, chairman of the Writers Union, Milli Majlis Anar, academician Rasim Efendiyev and others made their proposals on the preparation of the encyclopedia.
