GREAT SUCCESS OF YOUNG JUDOISTS OF ZAGATALA PROVINCE
A remarkable event occurred in the sport life of Zagatala. Young judoists Orkhan Ajigayev and Rashid Mammadov succeeded in the World Junior Judo championship held in Antalya, Turkey. Both athletes lost their finals and ranked second. Judoists were prepared by trainers Arif Ramazanov and Afgan Rzayev.
According to the Zagatala Executive Power, the meeting among winners, their trainers and Zagatala people took place in the House of Culture.
O. Ajirgayev and R. Mammadov expressed their gratitude to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for his care and to leadership of Zagatala for conditions created for them to participate in the international competitions.
In conclusion, the athletes were given precious gifts and diplomas.
