HEYDAR ALIYEV AND YOUTH OF INDEPENDENT AZERBAIJAN
Opening the ceremony, a Milli Majlis (Parliament) member, Vugar Rahimzadeh gave general information about the book. Ibrahim Mustafayev and Zaur Adigozalov’s book tells about care and attention shown by President Heydar Aliyev towards youth and is very much important from the point of view of upbringing of the new generation, he said.
The book consists of four chapters, edited by a member of the Milli Majlis, Mubariz Qurbanli with the introductory word written by Milli Majlis member Siyavush Novruzov. The book contains Heydar Aliyev’s speeches, decrees and edicts related to youth and articles depicting President’s activities in all fields. Besides, the reader will find interview of Vice-president and Bureau member of PACE Ilham Aliyev with local and foreign journalists and other materials as well as a number of photos.
A member of the Milli Majlis, Presidium member of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Nizami Jafarov, MM members Musa Musayev, Malahat Hasanova, Mubariz Qurbanli, the author of the book Ibrahim Mustafayev and others shared their views on the book.
The speakers highly appraised the fact that youth are researching political heritage of President Heydar Aliyev and stressed that his activities directed to strengthening the independence of Azerbaijan and taking its proper place in the world should always serve as an example for young generations.
