“HUSEYN JAVID” DOCUMENTARY SHOOTINGS CLOSE TO COMPLETION
According to the Main Department of Cinema under the Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture, shooting of documentary film about outstanding Azerbaijani playwright and poet Huseyn Javid is approaching the end.
Huseyn Javid, who belonged to representatives of progressive romanticism, began his way in the Azerbaijani literature as an author of lyrical verses. Later, his dramas “Sheikh Sanan”, “Iblis”, “Lame Timur” and others, which brought him the recognition of outstanding master, saw the light of the day.
The film to be presented in coming October - timed to the dramatist’s birrthday - had been shootings in his Motherland Nakhchivan and in Baku.
Director - Shamil Najafzadeh, screenwriter - Azer Turan, scientific consultant – the playwright’s daughter Turan Javid.
