INTELLIGENTSIA OF BAKU AND SUBURBS TO SUPPORT HEYDAR ALIYEV’S CANDIDACY IN THE UPCOMING PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
Opening the meeting, Academician Ziyad Samadzadeh said ‘for the last 11 years, the foundation for building an independent state had been laid and a mechanism of its activity formed in Azerbaijan. Dynamic development of the republic and its integration into the world community are linked to the name of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Addressing the meeting, Academicians Hajibay Sultanov and Fuad Gasimzade, writer Agshin Babayev, Dr. of Political Sciences Rovshan Mustafayev, honored artist Ramiz Azazbayli and other participants told of the concern the head of Azerbaijani state shows for workers of science, education and culture.
Expressing their attitude to the spiteful and groundless publications about the President of Azerbaijan in some newspapers, the speakers stressed that ‘no force is able to violate the social and political stability in the republic, and the public will never allow to do so’.
