IRANIAN CUSTOMS ADMINISTRATION CHIEF ARRIVED FOR BUSINESS VISIT IN BAKU
On August 6, upon the invitation of Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Colonel-General of the customs services Kamaladdin Heydarov, a delegation led by deputy Minister of Economy and Finances of Iran, Customs Administration Chief Masud Karbasian arrived in Baku for a 4-day official visit.
The leaders of both countries’ customs bodies stressed at the “Bina” airport that deep-rooted economic relations between Iran and Azerbaijan are, were given the new impetus in the early 1990-s when President. Heydar Aliyev held office as Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of Nakhchivan and had been still more expanded after his visit to the neighboring country in 2002.
The guest highly appreciated the Mr. Ilham Aliyev’s appointment as Prime Minister of Azerbaijan specially emphasizing that Iranian Vice-president had sent him a congratulation letter.
On the same day, the guests have laid a wreath on the foot of the “Eternal Flame” memorial.
