IRD EXPANDS ITS ACTIVITY

American humanitarian organization IRD has collaborated with medical organizations of Sumgait for four years. The organization is financed by the US Department of State and targets the humanitarian aid for refugees and IDPs.

In this respect, IRD officers monitor clinics and attend patients at home and give information on new medicines.

The special aid is rendered to the city oncology dispensary. According to senior doctor Eldar Mammadov, official IRD representative Kerry Oberndorfer thrice visited the dispensary to establish contacts. The aid in acquisition of expensive medicines cannot be overestimated. IRD granted tilting beds, reagents, and surgery facilities.

As a whole, IRD successfully collaborates with 14 medical organizations of Sumgait.
