ISRAELI AMBASSADOR EXPOSES LIE
On August 12, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Turkey Mammad Aliyev has met with Ambassador of Israel to this country Mr. David Sultan. The Israeli diplomat was curious about President Heydar Aliyev’s health, and extended his congratulations on Ilgam Aliyev’s appointment as Prime Minister of Azerbaijan.
The parties exchanged views on pre-election social and political situation in Azerbaijan, international and regional issues. They also touched upon the information spread in the Internet citing Israeli TV ‘Channel 2’. In this connection, Mr. David Sultan emphasized he had received accurate information from Israel, according to which neither by ‘Channel 2’ nor any other Israeli TV channel had spread the report. ‘All related reports were built on a lie’, he said.
