Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, CE Human Rights Bureau and Central Election Commission of the Azerbaijan Republic with participation of special envoy of the CE Secretary General to Azerbaijan hold joint training seminars in Baku on September 8-10 dedicated to the elections.

Training seminars are intended for members of CEC and subordinate election commissions, judges of the courts, NGO representatives, political parties, observers, and mass media representatives.

Such CE experts as Mr. Bernard Owen - Secretary General of the Training Center of comparative elections (France), Mr. Richard Baret - Official representative of Irish legal department, Mr. G. Buenger - representative of the International Commission on missing in Skopye, Mr. Christoforos Hristoforou - ex-director of analytical Radio and TV body on press and political issues (Cyprus), Mr. Ashok Ashir - Director General of the BBC Wales office on political issues and Ms. Theresa Roomer.

Conduction of practical trainings on voting and calculation of votes is planned on the seminars.
