JOSEF BLATTER INVITES AFFA PRESIDENT TO FIFA
FIFA President Josef Blatter has sent a letter to President of Azerbaijan Football Federations Association Ramiz Mirzayev to invite him to visit FIFA Headquarters in Zurich in June-July 2004 to discuss future steps for development of football in Azerbaijan. Mr. Blatter also said in the letter he had been pleased to meet with the AFFA President in January during CIS football championship in Moscow, and expressed confidence of football potential of the Azerbaijani juniors. He assured his Azerbaijani colleague that his organization would render necessary assistance to AFFA in effective and long-term development of football in the country.
