Junior Azerbaijani boxers bring home five European medals

Junior Azerbaijani boxers have clinched five medals, including a gold at the EUBC Schoolboys & Schoolgirls European Championships in Erzurum, Turkiye.
The gold medal came from Subhan Babayev in the 44kg weight class.
Ali Mamishov (70kg) scooped silver, while Baghir Alimkhanli (46kg), Kanan Aslanli (60kg) and female boxer Banuchichak Nasirli (44kg) grabbed bronze medals of the championships.
The championships brought together 378 boxers from 28 countries.
