KAZAKH OFFICIALS DOES NOT KNOW STATE LANGUAGE
State Secretary of Kazakhstan Imangali Tasmagambetov has conducted a meeting dedicated to development and popularization of the state language.
In his address, he stated that leaders of Ministries and Departments of Kazakhstan should raise an attention to studying the state language by their employees.
I. Tasmagambetov noted that only minority of officials have good command of Kazakh in Governmental Departments, which violates the rights of the indigenous population. Without knowing Russian language they face difficulties when drawing up documents.
