KHOJALI TRAGEDY DEDICATED
As was informed, in her remarks, the chairperson of the Committee Zahra Guliyeva spoke of the sequences of the Khojali tragedy, as one of the bloody terrorist acts, committed by the Armenians in the XX century. She said that the Khojali genocide was given due political assessment, defined its place in the history of Azerbaijan.
First deputy of the Chairperson, Ms. Dilruba Jamalova dwelt on the genocide characterizing it as an expedient and integral part of the policy implemented by Armenia against the people of Azerbaijan. “Our national leader Heydar Aliyev addressing the Azerbaijanis over the world, called on them to activate their efforts to bring the truth on the Khojali tragedy to the entire world. And thanks to his consecutive and expedient efforts, the truth on Azerbaijan was brought to the world community”, she emphasized.
Participants of the conference adopted Address of the non-governmental woman organizations and prominent women-activists of the Republic to the United Nations, OSCE, the Council of Europe, and Parliaments of world countries and heads of state.
