Entry of trucks into Baku to be limited in connection with Eurovision 2012
Baku, May 5 (AZERTAC). Entry of large-tonnage transport vehicles into Baku will be limited from May 8 to May 28, Main Traffic Police Department’s division chief Kamran Aliyev told.
This measure is applied to motor transport in connection with the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 for reduced density of vehicles and unimpeded passage.
Owners of motor vehicles are required to use large-tonnage transport vehicles in Baku as little as possible.
The 57th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in the Baku Crystal Hall near the State Flag Square. The semi-finals will be held in Baku on May 22 and May 24 and the final on May 26.
