LONDON, PARIS AND FRANKFURT ON THE LEVEL OF EXPENSIVENESS HOLD LEADING PLACES IN EUROPE
As the correspondent of AZERTAC informs, the German newspaper “Financial Times Dеutschland” has published the data of the European Statistical Department (EUROSTAT). In them, London, Paris and Frankfurt, as in the previous year, by last calculations, and in 2005 on high level of expensiveness share the first, second and third place in Europe. In these cities, cost of foodstuffs of 250 items, the goods of daily consumption, hotel and municipal services has exceeded 5,3 percent of the limit of the expensiveness accepted as norm in Euro-zone.
In these cities considered as “leaders” of expensiveness, the level of the monthly income of needy layer of the population has not changed in comparison with the last year. By calculations, the prices for habitation and in necessary spheres of life in London have increased for 1,8 percent, in Paris - 1,3 percent, in Frankfurt - 0,8 percent.
Statistical structures state that Madrid in the Euro-zone, and Warsaw on the extended space of the European Union are the cheapest cities.
