Main options of draft agreement on security cooperation in Caspian Sea coordinated
Baku, November 5 (AZERTAC). Main options of the draft agreement on security cooperation in the Caspian Sea were coordinated, said deputy foreign minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov at Baku press-conference dedicated to the results of the fourth meeting on coordination of the agreement on security cooperation in the Caspian.
Khalafov said the two-day meeting was very useful and progress towards the coordination of the draft agreement achieved. Deputy Minister expressed confidence that before the meeting of the working group on determination of the Caspian legal status, which is to take place in Teheran, on November 9-10, a final result on coordination of the draft agreement would be achieved.
Khalafov said the agreement is a very important document on security of the Caspian Sea and the first document for preparing the mechanisms of cooperation. The draft agreement covers combat against terrorism, organized crimes, sale of narcotics, illegal migration, human trafficking, smuggling, sale of weapons etc.
