Marcelo completes Fluminense return

Former Real Madrid and Brazil international defender Marcelo has returned to his original club Fluminense after parting ways with Olympiacos, the Rio de Janeiro side said on Friday, according to Xinhua.
The 34-year-old agreed to a contract that runs until December 2024 with the option of a 12-month extension.
"It's difficult to express what this means to me," Marcelo told Fluminense's official website. "I've been dreaming of returning to my origins for many years, to the club that nurtured me and taught me what I know about football."
Marcelo played just 332 minutes in 10 games across all competitions for Olympiacos following his September move from Real Madrid.
The left-back, who has been capped 58 times for Brazil, began his professional career at Fluminense in 2005 and made 30 first-team appearances for the club before joining Real Madrid in 2007.
He played 546 games for the Spanish giants, winning five UEFA Champions League trophies and six La Liga titles, among a host of other accolades.
