MEETING IN FOREIGN MINISTRY
According the Ministry’s press-service, General Frank Banfi stressed the importance of strengthening relations between the Center and Azerbaijan, as well as of the information exchange between GUUAM member countries in this sphere, cooperation development in combat against organized criminality. He said wide range of issues with respect to speeding up the work at establishment of the Virtual Center under GUUAM would be discussed during the visit.
Minister Villayat Guliyev noted that Azerbaijan Republic attaches importance to participation in SECI as an observer and cooperation with this organization, and stressed the visit would promote expansion of the International Analytical Information System within GUUAM and establishment of the Virtual Center.
The Minister supported the idea of expanding ties in combat against terrorism, drug, weapons and people trafficking to secure political-economic stability in the region.
