MEETING WITH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WINNERS
Chairman of the committee, President of Azerbaijan Taekwando Federation Kamaladdin Heydarov congratulated sportsmen on their next success. Having noted that sports complex on taekwando will be opened in Baku in September, he characterized this fact as a result of economic development, achieved in Azerbaijan under the leadership of President Heydar Aliyev, as well as the evidence of Prime-Minister, President of NOC Ilham Aliyev’s efforts sports development in Azerbaijan. The head of the Federation expressed his confidence that at the upcoming elections, Azerbaijan sportsmen, and masters of taekwando would also vote for continuation of the political course of the head of Azerbaijan.
The first Vice-President of the Federation Fizuli Musayev stated that masters of taekwando seriously train on the eve of the world championship to be held in Germany in September, as well as Olympic license tournaments to be held in France, in December, and in Baku, in February 2004.
