MEETINGS HELD IN SAUDI ARABIA
Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Saudi Arabia Elman Arasli met with the minister for issues of Islam, Vagf and conscription of this country Saleh bin Ibrahin al Sheik.Discussed were the issues of cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan in the humanitarian and religious fields, the Embassy reported.The Ambassador attracted attention of the minister to the fact that Azerbaijan is realizing a doctrine directly knowing problems of the Islamic world, underlined that use of this knowledge in this field could benefit both Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia. As he noted, it would be expedient to publish the conclusions of the joint studies on problems of the Islamic world.The Minister, in his turn, highly appreciating the relations between the two countries, stressed the necessity of raising the efforts of both sides for further expansion of all-round study and positively solution of the proposals of the Azerbaijani side.
