MINISTER OF EMERGENCIES MEETS PACE REPRESENTATIVES
The meeting focused on protection of the population in emergency situations.
Eduard Lintner congratulated Kemaleddin Heydarov on his appointment as Emergencies Minister and wished him every success. E. Lintner noted that Germany has no such a structure and was curious about the work of the Ministry of Emergencies of Azerbaijan.
Minister Kemaleddin Heydarov told of the work Ministry does to project the country in the emergency situations
K. Heydarov said that the Ministry established by President Ilham Aliyev’s decree is in process of formation. According to the Minister, our rescuers are ready to protect the population and the territories from the natural and man-caused disasters and have all capabilities to eliminate disaster consequences not only in Azerbaijan but also in other countries.
The meeting participants also exchanged views on a variety of issues of mutual interest.
