4 November. President Heydar Aliyev attended an event dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Sheikh Shamil.
5 November. He made a speech at the presentation of “Azerbaijani refugees” photo album at Azerbaijan State Library named after M.F. Akhundov.
6 November. He made a speech at the 3rd Republican art exhibition-contest of disabled persons.
7 November. He met with the creative team following the performance based on play “What’s the world coming to?!” by Bakhtiyar Vahabzade.
12 November. He made a speech at the events dedicated to extraction of the primary oil from oil fields jointly developed with foreign oil companies in Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea. He delivered a speech at the official reception organized in honor of the guests attending the ceremonies.
19 November. He delivered a speech at the event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of composer Tofig Guliyev.
20 November. He made a speech at the event dedicated to the 5th anniversary of “Azerbaijan International” magazine published in USA.
24 November. He attended an event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of People’s Artist Shovkat Mammadova at Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

On 29 September, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an Order to declare 2023 as a “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in the country. 10 May 2023 will mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, and an outstanding politician and statesman.
