7 August. He received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Turkey and Azerbaijan Henrik Liljegren.
8 August. He met with a delegation led by Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Yermoshin.
12 August. He issued a statement regarding the protection of the national and moral values of the Azerbaijani people.

On 29 September, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an Order to declare 2023 as a “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in the country. 10 May 2023 marked the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, and an outstanding politician and statesman.
