4 June. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev held an official meeting dedicated to the army building.
7 June. He received British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Thomas Young.
9-10 June. He paid a working visit to Turkey.
13 June. He gave an interview to the reporter of "Rossiyskaya Gazeta".
16 June. He received the Ambassador of Israel to Azerbaijan.
20 June. He visited the Tazapir Mosque in Baku on the occasion of Ashura.
21 June. He held an official meeting on the upcoming tasks related to the country’s economic agenda and other areas.
23 June. He attended a farewell ceremony for People’s Poet Khalil Rza Uluturk.

On 29 September, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an Order to declare 2023 as a “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in the country. 10 May 2023 will mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, and an outstanding politician and statesman.
