1 June. President Heydar Aliyev received a delegation led by President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Helle Degn.
3 June. He made a speech at the commissioning ceremony of new residential buildings built for the employees of “Azernerftyagh” manufacturing association in Khatayi district, in Baku.
He met with residents at the newly built park in Yeni Ahmadli district, in Baku.
6 June. He delivered a speech at the VII International “Caspian Oil & Gas” exhibition and conference.
9-10 June. He paid a visit to Iran to attend the VI Summit of the Heads of State of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member states.
13 June. He made a speech at the presentation of the “Dialogue Eurasia” magazine.
15 June. He gave an interview to the political commentators of “MIR” (World) interstate TV and radio company, “Mayak” (lighthouse) radio station and “Nezavisimaya gazeta” (Independent newspaper).
19 June. He attended the solemn event to mark 70th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Medical University.
20-22 June. He paid a visit to Moscow to attend another Summit of the Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
23 June. He met with the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China.
25 June. He met with the acting team after watching the performance based on the comedy by People’s Writer Elchin “Ah, Paris…Paris” at the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theater.
26 June. He delivered a speech at the solemn event to mark Azerbaijan’s Armed Forces Day.

On 29 September, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an Order to declare 2023 as a “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in the country. 10 May 2023 marked the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, and an outstanding politician and statesman.
