3 March - President Heydar Aliyev received the head of the Transcaucasia and Central Asia department of the European Commission.
4 March - He met with the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Turkey.
5 March - He held meetings with representatives of the US State Department and the US Congress, as well as the head of the Council of Europe Department.
7 March - He attended the event dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the People’s poet Samad Vurgun.
He made a speech at the meeting organized by the "Sevil" Azerbaijan Women's Assembly.
13 March - He was interviewed by the French journal "Le Figaro Magazine".
17 March - He met with the Head of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights.
20 March - He made a speech at the festive event organized for refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) on the occasion of Novruz holiday.

On 29 September, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an Order to declare 2023 as a “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in the country. 10 May 2023 will mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, and an outstanding politician and statesman.
