7 October. President Heydar Aliyev met with renowned musician Mstislav Rostropovich.

16 October. He delivered a speech at the commissioning ceremony of the Khirdalan brewery plant of the “Baku-Castel” enterprise.

17 October. He made a speech at the ceremony of signing agreements on Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline project.

18 October. He met with Azerbaijani athletes, who took part at the XXVII Summer Olympics.

19 October. He made a speech at the opening of the first stage of the Baku Thermal Electric Center N1.

21 October. He delivered a speech at the solemn opening ceremony of the new sports and recreation complex of the National Olympic Committee in Baku.

29 October. He attended and made speeches at the official meeting dedicated to the parliamentary elections.

30 October. He delivered a speech at the official reception marking national holiday of the Republic of Turkey - the 77th anniversary of establishment of the Republic.

On 29 September, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an Order to declare 2023 as a “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in the country. 10 May 2023 marked the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, and an outstanding politician and statesman.
