5 September. President Heydar Aliyev held a meeting on the strengthening the defense power of the Republic.
8 September. He participated in the signing ceremony of documents on the principles of trade and economic cooperation between Moldova and Azerbaijan for the next 5 years.

On 29 September, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an Order to declare 2023 as a “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in the country. 10 May 2023 will mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, and an outstanding politician and statesman.
