National Leader Heydar Aliyev commemorated in Berlin

A commemorative event marking the anniversary of the passing of National Leader Heydar Aliyev organized by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Germany, was held at the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Berlin, the German capital.
The event observed a minute of silence honoring the memory of the National Leader.
Subsequently, a documentary dedicated to the prominent Azerbaijani statesman produced by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation was screened.
Nasimi Aghayev, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Germany, highlighted Heydar Aliyev’s crucial role in strengthening the Azerbaijani statehood, adding that his visionary leadership and profound legacy continue to guide and inspire unity, progress, and prosperity.
The event featured the presentation of the exhibition "Motherland in our hearts," a solemn tribute to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
Deputy Director of the Cultural Center Isa Mammadov, People's Artist Ashraf Heybatov, and artist Margarita-Kerimova Sokolova delivered remarks at the event.
Following the speeches, the event participants familiarized themselves with the exhibition.
The exhibition showcased over 35 works by Azerbaijani artists and sculptors who have lived in Germany for many years. These contributors include Ashraf Heybatov, Margarita Kerimova-Sokolova, Arif Amirov, Farid Ismayilov, Aleksandr Guliyev, Gunay Shamsi, Ilgar Sheydayev, Jamala Rahmanli, and Taleh Mirkazimi, whose pieces collectively reflect a deep affection for their Motherland and a devotion to national roots.
