NEW SOCIAL SECURITY PROJECT PRESENTED
According to the Fund, a presentation of the WB’s project “Individual Insurance Accounts of Azerbaijan Republic in the social insurance system: Conception and Estimation”. Opening the presentation, the Fund’s Chairman Salim Muslimov announced on the continuation of reforms in the pension and social insurance systems and in the sphere of the social security of the vulnerable.
WB’s consultant on the information technologies of the social security system Asker Arzibayev dwelt upon the plan of the project’s realization and the funds to be spent to this effect.
Experts of the World Bank and the Ministry of Economic Development stressed the concern, care of the President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev to improve the living conditions of the poor, and appreciated this project as a vital step to achieve goals set by the President.
