NEWLY CREATED UNION WILL BECOME TURNING POINT IN MUNICIPALITIES’ ACTIVITIES
Taking into account the importance of creation of a union of local self-ruling organs side by side with the coordination council of municipalities’ activities, the commission will bring the draft law “On charter of municipalities union” to the autumn session of the Milli Majlis.
Besides, according to the regulations “On coordination councils for local self-ruling in the Republic of Azerbaijan”, new amendments and a number of other laws related to municipalities will be introduced according to the recommendations of the European local and regional authorities congress.
Deputy Chairman of the commission Shaitdin Aliyev said, organization of municipal union becomes a turning point in the activities of local ruling organs. It plays an important role in aid rendered by municipalities to each other, development of relations and others.
