NO VIOLATIONS OF PUBLIC ORDER ALLOWED
Baku Police Department told AzerTAj that the political bloc Azadlig of Musavat, Pupular Front of Azerbaijan and Democratic parties appealed to Baku Executive Power for and received the permission to march from metro station 20 January along Hasan bey Zardabi street to hold rally on the square in front of State Cinema Fund (former movie theater Galaba).
About 5000 (five thousand) opposition supporters including the above-mentioned parties, as well as the bloc Yeni Siyaset (New Politics), National Unity Movement, Liberal party, People’s Part, National Independence Party, Vahdat Party and other structures gathered for the rally from 15 to 18 p.m.
No rough violations of the public order and law were allowed.
