OIL STRATEGY OF HEYDAR ALIYEV SERVES AZERBAIJANI PEOPLE
Visits of SOCAR representatives to Azerbaijani regions are underway. Lately, chief power engineer of the Company Muhammadali Mammadzadeh and Adviser of the Vice-President, Doctor of technical sciences, professor Eldar Shahbazov have returned from Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Muhammadali Mammadzadeh told AzerTAj correspondent that the idea of visits to the regions was proposed by the heads of the Company, Chairman of MM permanent commission on regional issues, member of YAP managing committee, Chairman of Sabail district organization of the Party Zahid Garalov. The purpose was to introduce to the community the core of oil strategy, architect of which is Heydar Aliyev. He said that they had already visited Ganjabasar, Shamkir and Gazakh regions of Azerbaijan, Marneuli region of Georgia, held round table on “Space” TV channel. Zahid Garalov, Director of Human rights institution of National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Doctor of political sciences Rovshan Mustafayev, MP, Doctor of political sciences Vagif Abdullayev actively participated in these events as well. Meeting of SOCAR representatives with the society of Autonomous Republic was held in Nakhchivan State University. This event, held with active participation of the listeners, coincided with regular 53rd studies of “University of Heydar Aliyev” held in this educational establishment.
It became clear out of the questions that the people of Nakhchivan attentively follow the ongoing processes in Azerbaijan, openly express their attitude towards them. “We were asked repeatedly on the oil strategy, its core and perspectives. Answering on questions we first of all particularly stressed that oil strategy proposed by Heydar Aliyev serves welfare of the Azerbaijani people.” They spoke on the history of the oil industry in Azerbaijan, reminded of concern attached to the development of this sector in the period of leadership of prominent politician in 70s, stressed the role of the worthy successor of Heydar Aliyev school Prime Minister Ilham Aliyev in the establishment of relations with international oil consortiums, implementation of the “Contract of the Century”. Speaking of export of the Azerbaijani oil, they noted that due to the will and determination of Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan achieved construction of several pipelines for a short period.
The Nakhchivan meetings proved once more that Azerbaijani people support policy of Heydar Aliyev, as well as his worthy successor Ilham Aliyev. It became clear that Nakhchivan, integral part of Azerbaijan, living in conditions of blockade, is always in the center of attention of Mr. President, and Azerbaijani Government concerns on this region.
At the end of the visit, the guests visited sanctuary Eshab-Kaf, “Museum of Heydar Aliyev”.
