OMBUDSMAN “ROUND TABLE” HELD IN VILNIUS

The IV international “ round table” of Ombudsman National Institutes, recreated in some states of Commonwealth and Eastern Europe was held in Vilnius.

Ombudsmen of Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kirgizistan, Uzbekistan, as well as international experts, having large experience in human rights protection, attended the arrangement, AzerTAj correspondent learnt from Ombudsman office.

Representatives of Ombudsman office, Ministries of Justice and of Interior Affairs represented Azerbaijan.

Reports on the topic “Ombudsman and police: control and cooperation” and others were delivered at the “round table”.
