During nine months current year, more than hundred non-governmental organizations were registered and 13 of them are legal protection organizations, spokesman of Justice Ministry told AzerTAj.

Totally, in the country, hitherto, there have been registered 42 political parties, over 1600 NGOs, including more than 60 legal protection associations, over 40 trade unions, 1813 mass media organs, including 1749 editions, 36 televisions and radio, 28 news agencies.

Currently, registration of the population of Azerbaijan was charged to the Justice Ministry and certain actions in this field have been undertaken. The Ministry has taking measures to establish administrative control over municipalities.
