PABSEC supports Azerbaijan's bid to host Expo 2025, Secretary General

"This is an important factor that Azerbaijan's bid to host World Expo 2025 is supported by the international organizations that the country is also a member of," said Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) Asaf Hajiyev in his interview with AZERTAC's special correspondent.
Asaf Hajiyev hailed Azerbaijan's successful representation at Antalya Expo 2015 and at Astana EXPO 2017, saying the country has gained great experience in this field.
"One of the important factors in organizing Expo events is the installation of pavilions. This job requires a great experience, and excellent organizational and professional approach. Azerbaijan has set up new venues in completely different presentations for the Eurovision Song Contest and the firstever European Games. All this sparked great interest in international community. I think that Azerbaijan is able to demonstrate a new model in the organization of Expo 2025 too. PABSEC welcomes this initiative of Azerbaijan and will urge the member states to support this bid," the Secretary General said.
