PACE members strongly condemn terror act against Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran

A group of members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has today issued a statement labeling an armed attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran as a terrorist act and a crime violating international law.
The statement strongly condemning the armed attack was signed by the Azerbaijani, Turkish and European parliamentarians.
They noted that the embassy of Azerbaijan in Tehran had become a target of the armed attack on January 29, 2023. According to the statement, this terror act committed against the diplomatic mission is a grave crime violating international law and its principles. The parliamentarians demanded that the organizers and perpetuators of the terror act be brought to trial.
