Peace Shield – 2026 exercise participants depart for UAE

A group of servicemen from the Azerbaijan Army has departed for the United Arab Emirates to take part in the Peace Shield – 2026 joint operational-tactical exercise, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
The main objective of the exercise is to enhance the professional skills of the participating countries’ military contingents in counterterrorism operations, contribute to the maintenance of lasting peace, and facilitate the exchange of experience.
The Peace Shield – 2026 joint operational-tactical exercise will be held on February 2–3.
